Training Workshop “Effective Communication & Persuasive Public Speaking” within the framework of the Competition “TDTU Student Innovation and Startup Contest for the Academic Year 2025-2026”

On the afternoon of December 8, 2025, the Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni of Ton Duc Thang University, in collaboration with TOPSKILL Leadership Skills Training Joint Stock Company (TOPSKILL), organized a thematic training workshop entitled “ Effective Communication & Persuasive Public Speaking”

Attending the workshop were Mr Le Thanh Lam, Director of TOPSKILLS; leaders and staff of the Center; representative from the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfers; and student from teams participating in the Competition “TDTU Student Innovation and Startup Contest for the Academic Year 2025-2026”

The program aimed to equip students with essential skills in communication, presentation, and idea pitching, thereby helping participating teams better prepare for the Final Round of the competition. Through the workshop. Students were introduced to key topics such as effective communication methods, presentation techniques, argumentation and rebuttal skills, situational handling, and practical exercises to enhance expressive ability and build confidence when persuading an audience. Interactive activities throughout the session enabled students to practice these skills in a vivid, hands-on, and practice-oriented manner

At the conslusion of the program, students who completed the training were awarded Certificates of Participation by the Organizing Committee. The workshop not only strengthened crucial skills for competing teams during the project preparation phase, but also delivered practical value, supporting students in their studies, personal development, and future career paths
