Summary of Alumni Connection Activities Celebrating the 28th Anniversary of Ton Duc Thang University
On September 20, 2025, at Hall 6M, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted a closing program summarizing a series of alumni connection activities marking the 28th anniversary of the University’s founding (September 24,1997 – September 24, 2025). The event was organized by the Center of Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni in collaboration with the Alumni Club Executive Board, with the participation of University representatives, enterprises, alumni and students
This year’s program spanned August – September 2025, featuring three highlights:
- Voting for Outstanding Alumni Faces
- Sports Exchange of Alumni Generations
- Inspirational Session for Students on Entrepreneurship
Despite their differences, each activity shared the same goal: to connect, spread, and inspire

At the closing ceremony, Mr. Tang Khac Quy – Head of the Alumni Club and Director of the Center – emphasized the viral role of alumni in linking students, the University, and enterprises, thereby contributing to training quality, sustainable development, and student inspiration

The Organizing Committee honored 15 outstanding alumni from various faculties for their contributions to commute building and promoting TDTU’s alumni network
The Organizing Committee presented flowers and commemorative medals to outstanding alumni.
The sport exchange attracted over 200 alumni, with football and badminton tournaments fostering solidarity across generations. Results included:
- Football: First prize – Faculty of Finance and Banking; Second prize – Faculty of Business Administration; Third prize – Faculty of Information Technology
- Badminton: Multiple events (men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed double) with enthusiastic participation

Badminton attracted many alumni to compete in many events
The program concluded with an entrepreneurship inspiration session, where success alumni and the wining student team from the TDTU Startup Idea Competition 2024-2025 shared experiences, lessons, and encouragement for innovative career path.

The event ended in a warm and close-knit atmosphere, reinforcing solidarity and future collaboration between alumni, students, and the University
