Position: FCL inside sales and Customer Service – HCM (Freight forwarding)
Job description
Handle nomination cargo
- Checking cargo details, arrange space and update for agent
- Send booking confirmation and update schedule for customer
- Co-ordinate with relevant parties to solve all problems before loading date
- Hand over booking to OPS team
- Send WO to OPS
Support agent
- Check with carrier and agent once receiving booking request from customer
- Send FCL/Air/EXW/Door quotation to agent once receiving request
- Advise to agent specialized knowledge if any inquiry
- Support salesman to send quotation to customer when salesman is out of office
- Follow status of export/import shipment from receiving inquiry. Update status of shipment to customer promptly
- Support salesman check with carriers/agents/vendors for special inquiries
- Other tasks as per assignment from Manager, Head of Sales, Country Manager
Job requirements
- Graduated from universities or colleges majoring in International Trade, International Transport or Logistics
- Experience in the forwarding field is an advantage
- Possess independent thinking and strong teamwork skills
- Good command of English is required. Candidates should be able to accurately read and understanding shipping and trade documents, as well as write clear and professional emails. Listening and speaking skills should be sufficient to handle routine conversations and basic inquiries. Equivalent proficiency is TOEIC 650/ IELTS 5.5 or above
