TDTU: Celebrating 27 years of Excellence – Alumni Day 2024
On September 21, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) celebrated its 27th anniversary with a vibrant Alumni Day themed “TDTU: 27 years – Alumni Day.” This event not only marked the milestones of the university’s founding on September 24, 1997, but also fostered a strong sense of community among current students and alumni
Highlight of the Alumni Day
The day featured engaging discussions between alumni, university leaders, and faculty representatives, focusing on the launch of an official alumni website and upcoming activities aimed at enhancing alumni connections
Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, TDTU’s Vice President, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of maintaining strong ties within the alumni network
A significant moment was the launch of the Alumni Scholarship Fund, with Ms. Bi Mai Vy, a graduate from the Faculty of Business Administration (Intake 12), generously contributing 50 million VND. This initiative aims to support current students in their academic pursuits

Festivities and Activities
The day was filled with diverse activities, including sports exchanges – football and badminton – which saw 15 alumni teams competing. The Faculty of Business Administration claimed the top spot in men’s football, while the Faculty of Sports Science and the Faculty of Electricity – Electronics won in badminton

Mr. Tang Khac Quy - Director of the Center for Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni presented the Badminton Award at the Alumni Sports Festival.
Additionally, a vibrant business booth area attracted 25 companies, providing students with valuable opportunities to connect with potential employers. Alumni shared insights and experiences, guiding students on career development and skill enhancement
Many TDTU students came to visit, exchange, and receive advice on job opportunities at alumni enterprises during the Festival.
