From 1992 to 1997, along with developing the country’s economy, foreign investment capital into Vietnam forced businesses to be proactive and creative to seize business opportunities and learn management experience from foreign partner. Saigon Co.op started by forming joint ventures with foreign companies to increase resources for its development direction. As one of the few units with a direct import-export license from the City, the import-export activities have developed strongly and brought high efficiency, contributing to establishing the reputation and position of Saigon Co.op in the domestic and foreign markets. The most prominent event was the birth of the first supermarket of the Co.op Mart supermarket system, Co.op Mart Cong Quynh, on February 9, 1996, with the help of international cooperative movements from Japan, Singapore and Sweden. From there, the new, civilized retail business model that is suitable for the development trend of Ho Chi Minh City marks a new milestone for Saigon Co.op

Job description

  • Maintain supermarket equipment according to the assigned plan 
  • Check and ensure the safe operation of equipment at the supermarket. Clean and maintain refrigerators, freezers, air conditioning systems, etc periodically and daily according to the plan
  • Repair equipment at the unit when suddenly damaged to ensure business. If beyond professional capacity, consult the direct manager
  • Monitor and remind colleagues to save on electricity, telephone, water, gas, etc.

New Sales & Development Support Specialist

Job description

  • Prepare cost estimates for promotional programs applicable specifically to the region
  • Analyze customer data coordinate with units in the region, and propose regional promotional programs to boost sales and clear inventory.
  • Manage, organize, and monitor promotional programs implemented by the regional office
  • Supervise Co.op Marts in the region to implement the system’s promotional programs
  • Advise the regional director on the region’s shopping guide page related to the promotional program
  • Advise the Regional Director on the region’s shopping guide page related to the promotional program
  • Coordinate with the Marketing department in designing and ensuring compliance with the general standards of the Union
  • Control and ensure that leaflets and advertising materials are applied to all units in the region following the Union’s regulations
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the implementation status, and provide customer service types: membership program, online ordering, home delivery, electronic payment, and Coop+ service
  • Coordinate with departments and divisions to resolve issues arising when implementing business plans according to the assigned areas
  • Support the opening of new Co.op mart and Co.op food in the region as assigned
  • Responsible for network development
  • Support the control of compliance with regulations on shopping space and coordinate the management of rental areas for units in the region

Requirements

  • University degree or higher in Business and Management
  • Computer: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Foreign language: Level 2 or equivalent
  • Have at least 01 year of experience working in related positions and fields
  • Ability to withstand work pressure high, able to work independently, work in a team, travel to the province
  • Preferably male
  • Preferably with experience related to the retail and fast-moving consumer goods industry
