Commemoration of the 130th birthday anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang (20/08/1888 - 20/08/2018)
On the morning of August 8, 2018, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly commemorated the 130th birthday anniversary of President Ton Duc Thang (20/08/1888 - 20/08/2018) with the attendance of the presidential board, lecturers, staff and students.
At the commemoration, the lecturers, staff and students together reviewed the life and revolutionary career of President Ton Duc Thang, offered him the sincere incense and expressed their pride when working, teaching and studying at the university under the name of the President.
On the same day, TDTU also held many activities to commemorate 130 years of his birth such as "President Ton Duc Thang’s life and revolutionary career” photo exhibition, showing the documentary film "President Ton Duc Thang - a big personality" and introducing the book "Ton Duc Thang with the Saigon Workers Movement from the early twentieth century to 1930" to create conditions for lecturers and students to know more clearly about Uncle Ton’s life and career, follow his example and continue to strive and work for the development of TDTU and Vietnam.
