Handing over key projects of the Green Summer Campaign in Duc Pho Town, Quang Ngai Province

Implement the project contents and tasks established to be implemented in the Green Summer campaign of Ton Duc Thang University at the front of Duc Pho Town, Quang Ngai province. On July 5, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University delegation led by Dr Tran Trong Dao – principal of the School handed over key projects in the campaign: Awarding scholarship to students in difficult circumstances in Duc Pho Town and handing over 02 houses and 02 households for difficult circumstances in Pho Cuong commune and Phon Nhon commune (Duc Pho Town)

The School representatives, Duc Pho Town leaders, and student volunteers conducted an incense offering ceremony to commemorate Comrade Nguyen Nghiem – the first Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Quang Ngai province

The program awards scholarships to students in difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties studying in the Town. During the campaign, the School mobilized and awarded 80 scholarships to students with a total of 80 million VND

Handover ceremony of House of Kindness to households in difficult circumstances, during the Green Summer campaign in Duc Pho town, TDTU Youth Union mobilized and awarded financial support to build and renovate houses for 02 households in difficult circumstances in Pho Cuong commune, Pho Nhon with a total value of 130 million VND

During the business trip to the localities, the School’s delegation went to places to live, visit, and encourage the School’s student volunteer team in the Green Summer campaign at the front of Duc Pho town. Dr Tran Trong Dao – Principal of the School praised the pioneering spirit and dedication of the youth of the volunteer soldiers participating in contributing to the community

Comrade Do Tam Hien – Secretary of the Duc Pho town Party Committee spoke at the campaign closing ceremony. Town leaders highly appreciated the effectiveness of the coordination activities of the Youth Union and the youth forces of the two units in organizing the campaign, bringing many meaningful local projects

Comrade Bui Van Ly – Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee and chairman of the People’s Committee of Duc Pho town awarded certificates of merit to individuals with many positive contributions to the Green Summer campaign in the town

The TDTU Green Summer campaign at the front of Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province takes place from June 23 to July 6,2024, with the permanent participation of 30 volunteer soldiers. At the front, volunteer soldiers, along with union members and local youth, participate in meaningful projects such as supporting the construction of charity houses and organize activities to care for children and participate in building new rural areas.
