Ton Duc Thang University student won a prize in the Competition on Solution to Smart Energy Management in Asia 2018

The Competition on Solution to Smart Energy Management in Asia 2018 is an annual educational platform organized by APEC Research Center for Advanced Biohydrogen Technology for Asian students with the purpose of orienting young people to care, think and create solutions to climate change issues globally; as well as to raise awareness among students about the importance of environmental protection. The competition took place from April to August, 2018 in Thailand with competitions of 17 teams from many countries in Asia such as Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, etc. Among them, Tran Duc Minh, a student from Faculty of Environment and Labor Safety of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), was the only representative from Vietnam who won the 3rd prize with "Sustainable Energy for Mekong Delta Region” ".

Duc Minh’s achievement is one of many evidences showing the quality of input, quality of learning and the TDTU students’ initiative and the creativity have been improved very quickly. It is true that TDTU students’ quality now has the same level with other students in the region and in the world. The TDTU Faculty of Environment and Labor Safety is also proud to have educated generations of young students who are good at their specialization, who care and aware their responsibility for urgent matters in the current society such as green environment protection, establishment of a community with sustainable community, etc.
